1. Controller and contact
OUVIR MELHOR, UNIPESSOAL LDA, VAT number 519588665, located at Largo Mouzinho de Albuquerque, nº17 1º, 2745-182 Queluz. Questions about data and cookies: info@ouvirmelhor.pt; phone +351 211335373.
2. How we use cookies and browser storage
Cookies are small files stored in the browser. We also use local and session storage for functions requested by the user, such as keeping the cart and completing a payment. We do not sell this data.
Google Analytics 4, Google Ads, and Weboost are only used after you explicitly accept optional cookies in the 'Cookies' panel, for usage statistics, contact request counting, and campaign measurement. Before this acceptance, or if you reject the optional cookies, the site does not load Google services or send measurements to Google or Weboost. Simply visiting or continuing to browse does not grant consent. Previous acceptance that only covered Google does not authorise Weboost: a new choice identifying all three services is required.
3. Necessary cookies
ouvirmelhor_cookie_consent — Ouvir Melhor; remembers the cookie choice for one year after it is changed. The choice is not automatically renewed on each visit.
ouvirmelhor_cookie_consent_version — Ouvir Melhor; records the version and scope of the authorisation for one year, only when you accept optional cookies for statistics and advertising measurement. It is removed when you reject the optional cookies. An old acceptance covering only statistics does not automatically authorise advertising measurement; the inclusion of an additional provider requires a new choice.
customer-token — Ouvir Melhor; authenticates the customer when they log in or create an account. Maximum configured duration of two hours. It is protected against access by JavaScript and sent only over HTTPS in production. You can end the session to remove it.
4. Other data stored for store functions
Cart — local storage in your browser, to preserve the items you have added. It remains between visits until you clear the cart or delete the site data. The optional events of adding to the cart and starting the payment described in section 5 are only sent to Google after consent; they include data about the items, without the names or contacts filled in by the customer.
ouvirmelhor:trial-signup-dismissed-at — when the news window is closed, it saves the date of that request to avoid showing the window again during the configured interval (30 days in this version). The record remains local until the site data is deleted.
ouvirmelhor:eupago-checkout-attempt — session storage, used during a payment attempt to prevent duplicate requests. It is deleted when the attempt is completed or when the tab session ends.
The persistent history of recently viewed products is disabled without optional consent. Old records of this history are deleted by the cookie mechanism when there is no authorisation for optional features.
The health information submission area and the associated chat are not active on the website in this version.
5. Optional statistics and advertising measurement
Google Analytics 4 allows for the analysis of visited pages, interactions, and the functioning of the store. Google Ads allows for measuring the performance of campaigns, including product visits, cart additions, checkout starts, and confirmed purchases. The counting of contact requests and subscriptions only occurs after confirmation of submission by the site.
Google Analytics uses the cookies _ga and _ga_<identifier>, set on this site for a maximum of one year, without automatically renewing the period with each visit and subject to shorter browser limits. Google Ads may use cookies from the _gcl_* family for advertising measurement, lasting 90 days according to the Google’s advertising and measurement cookie list. The specific installation depends on the interaction and functioning of the service; this indication does not mean that all cookies from that family are installed.
The provider is Google. These measurements may include technical data from the browser and device, IP address, pages visited and interactions, as well as data from products and transactions. The site does not send names, emails, phone numbers, addresses, or messages filled in by customers in the forms, nor audiometries or other health documents. Enhanced conversions, Google Signals, and advertising personalisation are disabled in this configuration.
Data may be processed outside the European Economic Area, according to the provider's information and the applicable guarantees described in the Privacy Policy. Provider information: Google Analytics cookies, processing of information from sites that use Google services and Google privacy.
The Weboost service allows measuring visits, contact clicks, and confirmed form submissions on the site, relating them to the source of the visit. The recipient is the Weboost service, via api.weboost.pt. The domain and page path, the title of the public page, the type of interaction, a fixed name of the form, the source of the visit, and UTM campaign parameters, when present, are sent. The presence of advertising identifiers is noted without sending their value. The connection to the service also provides the IP address and the usual technical data of a web connection. The site does not send the values filled in the forms, names, emails, phones, messages, audiometries, or other health documents.
Weboost does not install its own cookies in this configuration. It uses session storage with the prefix wblg: for the source of the visit and the first conversion of the session; these records end when the tab is closed or consent is withdrawn. A test mode, when requested by the wblg_test parameter, is also stored only in that session. Only forms are counted after successful confirmation by the server; failed attempts and contacts blocked by the anti-spam mechanism are not counted. The local identifier used to prevent duplicate submissions is not transmitted to Weboost or Google. Private account areas and private screening access or results are excluded from measurement.
6. Change or withdraw the choice
You can open the 'Cookies' button available on the site to consult or change your choice. Rejecting optional cookies withdraws permission for statistics, contact counting, and advertising measurement, prevents new measurements, deletes Google cookies accessible to the site and Weboost session storage, and refreshes the page when necessary to stop the already loaded measurement code. Your account and cart are not deleted by this action.
You can delete cookies and other local data in your browser settings. Blocking necessary cookies may prevent logging in, cart persistence, or completing requested functions. An old preference in local storage does not grant consent again after the choice cookie expires.
7. External services and personal data
YouTube and Vimeo videos do not load the external player until you click 'Load and view video'. This action requests the external service and may transmit data such as the IP address to the provider; their respective policies apply. Loading a video does not grant permission for store statistics.
By following links to WhatsApp or other external services, or proceeding to payment, you start using the chosen service, and the policies of that provider also apply. A simple link does not authorise the installation of advertising cookies on our site.
Consent for optional cookies is distinct from any marketing authorisation and consents related to health data. Please refer to the Privacy Policy for purposes, retention, and exercise of your rights.
