At Ouvirmelhor, we want you to choose your hearing aids with confidence and peace of mind. Therefore, we offer deliveries across the entire national territory, specialised support, and the option to try the devices at home before making a final decision.
1. Deliveries
Orders placed at www.ouvirmelhor.pt are managed by OUVIRMELHOR, UNIPESSOAL, LDA.
We deliver to mainland Portugal, Madeira, and the Azores, using tracking-enabled transport services whenever available from the carrier.
Delivery Time
The estimated delivery time is 7 to 10 working days, depending on the destination, product availability, and the preparation of the hearing aids.
Shipping Costs
Standard delivery in mainland Portugal: free.
Standard delivery to Madeira and the Azores: €4.99.
Express delivery: €9.90, free for orders over €100, subject to the conditions shown at checkout.
Orders placed after 15:00, at weekends or on public holidays are processed from the next working day.
After dispatch, the customer receives a confirmation email with tracking information for the order, when available.
2. Returns Policy — 30 Days
At Ouvirmelhor, we offer a 30-day satisfaction policy, which allows you to return the hearing aids purchased if they do not meet your expectations.
For 30 consecutive days after receipt, the customer can request a return without needing to justify the reason, even if the devices have been used, provided that:
They are in acceptable condition for use, without damage resulting from improper use.
They are returned with the respective chargers, manuals, and accessories provided.
The intention to return is communicated to info@ouvirmelhor.pt before the end of the period.
Collection is free in mainland Portugal, Madeira, and the Azores.
After receipt and verification of the products, a full refund of the amount paid will be processed within a maximum of 5 working days, using the same payment method used for the purchase, unless expressly agreed otherwise.
This commercial policy does not affect the rights legally recognised to the consumer.
3. Demonstration hearing aids
Ouvirmelhor offers a service that allows you to try hearing aids at home, before purchase and without obligation to buy.
The service operates under the following conditions:
Demonstration hearing aids are provided, configured according to the audiometry supplied by the customer.
The shipping and collection of the demonstration devices are free.
The demonstration period is communicated to the customer before the equipment is sent.
The demonstration devices automatically deactivate at the end of the agreed period.
After the demonstration period ends, Ouvirmelhor arranges the collection of the equipment.
The demonstration devices remain the property of Ouvirmelhor throughout the entire period of use.
In case of loss, damage or non-return, Ouvirmelhor reserves the right to claim the corresponding value of the equipment, in accordance with the conditions accepted by the customer and the applicable legislation.
4. Exclusions and special conditions
Under the 30-day return policy, products damaged by improper use, negligence or unauthorised handling are not accepted.
For hygiene and health protection reasons, accessories intended for intimate contact with the ear, namely tips, filters, tubes, moulds and similar components, may only be returned, where legally applicable, if the sealed packaging remains closed and intact.
For accessories purchased separately, the customer should contact Ouvirmelhor for return instructions. Unless stated otherwise or when the law imposes another solution, the shipping costs for these accessories are borne by the customer.
These exclusions do not limit the consumer's rights in the event of a lack of conformity or a product defect.
5. Legal right of withdrawal
For distance purchases, the consumer generally has a legal period of 14 days to exercise the right of withdrawal, under Decree-Law No. 24/2014, as currently amended.
The consumer can exercise this right by sending an unequivocal communication to Ouvirmelhor.
The refund is made within the legal period of 14 days from the communication of withdrawal, using the same payment method, unless expressly agreed otherwise at no cost to the consumer. It includes the costs of standard delivery, where applicable; it does not include the surcharge for a more expensive delivery method chosen by the customer. When Ouvirmelhor offers collection, the refund is not dependent on the receipt or physical verification of the goods. In other cases, it can only be withheld until the goods are received or proof of dispatch is provided, whichever occurs first. The consumer must return the goods within 14 days following the communication, unless Ouvirmelhor offers to collect them. These rules take precedence over the aforementioned commercial period of five working days.
The 30-day commercial policy constitutes an additional advantage and does not replace or restrict the legal right of withdrawal.
6. Legal warranty
The products sold by Ouvirmelhor are covered by the legal warranty of conformity provided for in Portuguese legislation, which is generally 3 years for movable goods.
In the event of a lack of conformity, the consumer benefits from the rights provided by law, including repair, replacement, a price reduction or termination of the contract, depending on the circumstances.
The responsibility for the legal warranty lies with Ouvirmelhor as the selling entity, regardless of any additional commercial warranties that may be provided by the manufacturers.
7. How to request a return
To request a return, please send an email to info@ouvirmelhor.pt, indicating the order number and the products you wish to return.
Our team will get in touch to provide instructions and arrange for collection, where applicable.
